Present: Mr. and Mrs.. Delbert Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle, City Ad-
ministrator Ed Moore, J.C. Landers, Ronnie Atkins, Gray
Shelton, Ms. Daisy Cook, Ms. Ella Hall, Bruce Anthony,
and Chairman Alvin Brown, and petitioner Fred H. Simmons.
Absent: Tommy Chapman
1. The minutes of several previous meetings were read by Gray
Shelton and were approved.
2. A petition by Fred H. Simmons to rezone 100 feet North and
South by 110 feet East and West on the back of Lot 2, Block 2,
W.B. Shirley Addition from Single Family District to the Local
Business District under provisions of Section 20 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Sanger. Amotion to reject the petition
was made by Ella Hall, seconded by Daisy Cook, and carried 5-0.
3. A petition by Mrs. Anne Kyle to rezone the West 1/2 of the
North 90 feet of the South 170 feet of Lots 3 and 4 in Block
77, in the Original Town located on U.S. 77 or Fifth Street
from Single Family District to the Local Business District;
and
the East 1/2 of the North 90 feet of the South 170 feet of
Lots 3 and 4 in Block 77, in the Original Town located on
Fourth Street, from Single Family District to 2-Family
District,
under provisions of Section 20 of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Sanger,
A motion was made by Ms. Cook, seconded by Bruce Anthony,
that the petition be approved. The motion carried 5-0.
On a motion by Anthony, seconded by Cook, the meeting adjourned
at 9:15 p.m.
