Present: Chairman Armstrong, Hollingsworth, Royal, Springer,
and Frazier
Absent: Enlow and Bounds
Others Present: Lloyd Henderson, Mary Jo Stover, Fred Simmons

1. The minutes of the October 12, 1982 meeting were approved
as printed.
2. The Preliminary Subdivision Plat on Lots 1 and 2, Block 2,
Hampton Addition for Fred Simmons was discussed. There is
an existing house on Lot 2, and Simmons wants to build a
house on Lot 1. A variance of 4'10" is also needed on Lot 1.
It was noted that Cherry Street does not border Block 2 and
should be changed to Oak Street. The set -back lines needed
to be drawn in on the plat.
Motion was made by John Springer to approve the Preliminary
Subdivision Plat. for Fred Simmons with the corrections that
had been noted. Billye Hollingsworth gave the second. It
was voted unan.
Motion was made by Jim Frazier to grant the 4'10" variance
needed on Lot 1. Georgia Royal gave the second. Voted unan.
3. Motion was made by Billye Hollingsworth to grant the variance
of 5'4" for Ken Cornell on Lot 2, Block 1, Elm Street Addition
Jim Frazier gave the second. Voted unan.
Ken Cornell clarified minimum lot dimensions and square foot --
age as stated in the Zoning Ordinance of the City.
