07/10/1984-PZ-Minutes-RegularMinutes: Planning & Zoning Commission July 10, 1984 Present: Hollingsworth, Royal, Bounds, Brittian, Enlow and Kincaid Absent: Frazier Others Present: Lloyd Henderson, Net Armstrong, Jack Armstrong, Fred Yeatts Mayor Net Armstrong swore in new members of the commission, Fred Yeatts and Bill Enlow. John Anderson was absent. Nominations were opened for election of officers for the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary positions on the Commission for the coming year. Motion was made by Brittian and seconded by Kincaid that Hollingsworth be elected Chairman. Nominations closed and Hollingsworth was elected by acclamation. Motion was made by Royal and seconded by Yeatts that Kincaid be elected Vice Chairman. Voted unanimous. Motion was made by Kincaid and seconded by Enlow to elect Georgia Royal as Secretary. Voted unanimous. Motion by Kincaid and seconded by Enlow to recommend approval of Mr. Bob Hopper's request for a ten foot (10') variance on the back setback requirements for a house to be built at Lot 3, Block 6, Hampton Addition. Voted unanimous. Commission discussed the annual fish dinner and set the date of July 24th. Staff will make arrangements. Commission to meet for business at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th and depart for Marietta, Oklahoma at 6:00 p.m. Former members of the com- mission (Armstrong, Frazier, and Bounds) and spouses are to be invited. Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Enlow seconded by Royal. Unanimous.
