1. Chairperson Billye Hollingsworth called the meeting to
order. Joe S. Waide was sworn in by Mayor Nel Armstrong
to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of John Anderson
2. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.
3. Chairperson Billye Hollingsworth opened the public hearing
for Zoning Petition Z 9. John Anderson has requested.a
change'.from R-1 to R- on Tract 13, AB.1241, H. Tierwester
Survey. Mr. Anderson explained his intentions to construct
multi -family residences on this tract. Lloyd Henderson spoke
for city staff and explained the city had attempted to pur-
chase this property for use as a city park.
Tommy Kincaid made the motion to recommend the change to
council and Fred.Yeatts gave the second. Voted unan.
Georgia Royal moved to adjourn the meeting. Eileen Brittian
gave the second. Voted unan.
