PRESENT: Armstrong, Bounds, Snellgrove, Hollingsworth, Frazier, and Easley
CYPHERS PRESENT: Jack Hollingsworth, Charles Williams, Billy Barclay
1. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read.
2. Gene Hughes presented his plat to the Commission. The City ,Manager presented,
staff recomrnndation. There was a request for additional easement on lots 3, 4,
and 5. Block for installation of utilities. Discussion by the Commission
concerning 15' set back line on Lot 3, Block 1, it was recommended the set back
on Marshall be 151. Also a recommendation was made that Church Street be
curbed and guttered on both sides at least within the subdivision. There is
a need to have the curve between Block 3 and Block 1 designed in such a manner
as not to cause a hazard. It was recommended that topography and utility
easements be made a part of the preliminary plat prior to presentation to the
City Council.
A motion was made by Jimmy Frazier that zoning and subdivision ordinance
be changed to reflect to on corner lots 25' setback on fronI street and 15' 'on
side street. The motion was seconded by Easley. Passed unan.
3. 'A motion was made by Billye Hollingsworth to table the plat until above
information is presented. The motion was seconded by Cecil Snellgrove.
Passed unan.
