WHEREAS, on the 10th day of May 2021, at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Sanger, Texas, the City Council canvassed the results of an election held on the 1st day of May 2021, for the purpose of electing candidates to the City Council Place 1, City Council Place 3 and City Council Place 5, such election having been duly ordered by the Mayor and City Council, under the authority of the Constitution and the laws of this State; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Sanger, Texas has determined that the election officials of the voting district of the City, have in compliance with the law in such cases made and provided returns to the City Council in the time and manner required, and the City Council, having canvassed the votes does find that the total number of ballots cast and that the total number of votes cast for each candidate is as follows: Name of Candidate Total Number of Votes Received Steven Skinner City Council Place 1 66 Marissa Barrett City Council Place 1 202 Grayson Ceballos City Council Place 3 88 Dennis Dillon City Council Place 3 183 Victor Gann City Council Place 5 – unopposed 238 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS: SECTION 1.
