1.Call Meeting to Order, Establish a Quorum (Roll Call), Invocation.
There being a quorum, Phillip Surles called the July 12, 2021, Planning and Zoning Meeting to
order at 7:00 p.m..
2.CITIZEN INPUT:
There were no citizens who came forward wishing to speak.
3.CONSENT AGENDA:
Matt Fuller made a motion to accept the Consent Agenda. Motion was seconded by Phillip Surles.
Motion passes unanimously with a 50 Vote.

Conduct a Public Hearing and Consider, Discuss and Act on an Ordinance Regarding a Specific
Use Permit for a Kennel Facility at 304 Acker Street, Ste 105; Generally Located on the East Side
of Acker Approximately 230 Feet North of Pecan Street.
Phillip Surles opened the public hearing at 7:01 p.m..
Director of Development Services Ramie Hammonds gives a little background on the property. She
explains that they have been working under the current SUP for 4 years and they would like to
continue. She also explains that there has not been any reported problems.
Shelly Wallace explained to the board that she is available for any questions.
Phillip Surles closes the public hearing at 7:03 p.m..
Allen McAllister makes a motion to approve the SUP for 5 years. Shane Stone seconded the
motion. Motion passes unanimously with a 50 vote.
6.Marion Point Acres Replat
Conduct a Public Hearing and Consider, Discuss and Act on the Replat of Block A Lot 1, Lot 2,
Lot 3, Lot 4 of the Marion Point Acres, within the City of Sanger’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction,
Being Approximately 26.444 Acres, Reclaiming Unused Right of Way and Increasing Acreage to
27.36.
Director of Development Services Ramie Hammonds goes over the staff report. She explains the
applicant is wanting to reclaim 25 feet of excess rightofway along the south side of Huling Rd. She
said that staff recommends approval with the condition that all staff comments be satisfied prior to
City Council.
The board had a brief discussion. Phillip Surles made a motion to approve with the condition all of
staffs comments are met by City Council. Matt Fuller seconded the motion. Motion passes
unanimously with a 50 vote.

No future items were discussed.
9.ADJOURN.
There being no further agenda items for discussion, Phillip Surles adjourned the Planning and Zoning
meeting at 7:12 p.m..
