AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 85-26 OF THE
CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS PROVIDING FOR THE INCLUSION OF
ADDITIONAL PETITIONED EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION,
PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of certain tracts of land marked Exhibit F-1
have petitioned the City of Sanger, Texas, to be included in the
extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Sanger, and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Sanger, Texas has
determined that Ordinance No. 85-26 adopted by the City Council on
October 21, 1985, and amended on November 4, 1985 be and the same is
hereby further amended by adding the following section:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED that: The Extraterritorial
Jurisdiction of the City of Sanger, Texas, is hereby extended to include the
area encompassed by the following referenced petition which has been
marked Exhibit F-1 and attached and made a part of this Ordinance for all
purposes, and further that said contiguous area to be included by a petition
further shown on a map marked Exhibit F-1 and also attached and made a
part of this Ordinance for all purposes.
