1. Meeting called to order.
2. Pledge.
3. Citizen’s Input.
• No citizens in attendance.
4. Minutes of the Meeting of April 10, 2018.
• Minutes were approved unanimously after a motion to approve by Kelsey Stuart and a second by Cale Trail.
5. Update on Summer Scheduled Events.
• Adult Kickball – Wednesday’s (June 6-July 18) *League made with 3 teams. First games went great!
• Kids Kickball – Thursday’s (June 7-July 19) *League did not make.
• Adult Softball – Friday’s (June 8-July 20) *League made with 4 teams. First games went great!
• Movie @ Porter – June 8 *Showed Peter Rabbit and had about 250 in attendance.
• Movie @ Switzer – June 15
• Movie @ Porter – June 22
• Mini Triathlon – June 23
• Movie @ Downtown (with Library event) – June 29
• Freedom Fest – June 30
• Summer Concert – July 21
6. Keep Sanger Beautiful / Keep Texas Beautiful / Keep America Beautiful Update.
• Jackie Turner updated that all is mostly quiet with these organizations right now. She is regularly attending
webinars. Jackie also stated she will be attending the Regional Training in Irving on July 31 to get four
hours that are required. Jennifer Shumate will check her schedule to see if she can also attend.
• The Board once again thanked Jackie for her continued hard work on Keep Sanger Beautiful.
7. Open Discussion of Future Projects.
• The Board was advised that the shade structures are in place at Porter Park.
• The Board was also advised that they will soon see construction on a 40’x80’ pavilion being constructed
at Porter Park.
