1. Meeting called to order.
2. Pledge.
3. Citizen’s Input.
No citizens in attendance to speak.
4. Consider minutes of the meeting of June 10, 2014.
Minutes approved unanimously after a motion to approve by Josh Shumate and a second by
Terry Stogsdill.
5. Splash Park Update.
Splash Park is now open. Only fine tuning is left on this project.
6. Switzer Splash Park Grand Opening Event – July 12, 2014.
Event will be from 11am-2pm.
Hot Dogs, Chips, Water will be served. Asking for board members to come and assist in
cooking, greeting citizens, etc.
7. Discussion of Fall Fishing Derby.
Josh Shumate to get with Pee Wee Football commissioner regarding possible bi-weeks.
Actual event and date will be further discussed during August meeting.
8. Opening Discussion of Sanger Sellabration.
Balloons will once again be handed out at our booth along with flyer discussing events that
include fall fishing derby, scarecrow contest, and Christmas parade.
Jim Berman to provide aerial view of city parks to Tom Swartz to print and have at booth.
Parks Board will be handing out popsicles to the children in attendance.
Sellebration work time will be determined during August meeting.
9. Open Discussion of Future Projects.
