March 8, 2016

1. Meeting called to order at 6:57pm.
2. Pledge.
3. Citizen’s Input.
No citizens in attendance.
4. Consider minutes of the meeting of February 9, 2015.
Minutes approved unanimously after a motion to approve by Eddie Piercy and a second by Carrie Bilyeu.
5. Trash Off to be Held on March 12, 2016.
Asking staff and board to meet at Railroad Ballpark at 8am.
Ms. Jackie Pevehouse will be in charge of volunteers and in town clean up assignments. Mr. Berman
gave Ms. Pevehouse copies of maps focusing on specific locations in town.
6. Easter Egg Hunt to be Held on March 26, 2016.
Pre-stuffed eggs were purchased this year (6,000 eggs).
Parks Board will meet at Porter at 7:30am to distribute eggs.
7. Fun Run to be Held on April 23, 2016.
We will be having a Black Light run that will begin at 9:00pm.
The City is having an online company handle registration so that attendees can register online. The
company is called Active.com. The cost of the race will be (hopefully) $20.00 per person.
We will provide attendees with a T-shirt, Glow Bracelet, Glow Necklace, and Race Bib. We will also
have water bottles and a DJ at the event. We will have rented blacklights at the event and throughout the
course.
Packets will be available the week prior to the event at our office.
8. Open Discussion of Future Projects.
Joint 4B / Parks Board meeting soon.
We received our Tree City USA Designation.
9. Future Agenda Items.
Fun Run in April.
Fishing Derby (May 21, 2016).
