May 10, 2016

1. Meeting called to order at 6:59pm.
2. Pledge.
3. Citizen’s Input.
No citizens in attendance.
4. Consider minutes of the meeting of April 12, 2016.
Minutes approved unanimously after a motion to approve by Eddie Piercy and a second by Carrie Bilyeu.
5. Follow Up on Fun Run Held on April 23, 2016.
Suggestions that were shared was that the grassy areas were too dark. Director Berman suggested the
solution to this would be to light the cones as well as turn on lights on Field #3.
100 runners registered with an estimated total of attendees on the actual evening of the run being at 150
(registration was cut off by the city at 100)
The City is looking to take advantage of the opportunities and having another run on October 29, 2016.
6. Fishing Derby to be Held on May 21, 2016.
Derby will be held 10am – 12pm.
Fishing Team is available and will be there onsite to help
We have left over poles and give-a-ways for the children
7. Open Discussion of Future Projects.
Joint 4B / Parks Board meeting soon.
Board requested a Plexiglas flyer holder to be placed at Railroad and Porter.
