Mendy called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm.
Tom made a motion to approve the minutes from September 11 th, 2012 with a
2nd from Carrie and the minutes were approved unanimously.
Citizen Input.

Discuss Christmas Parade Event.
• Tom will talk to Mr. Crutsinger at Sanger ISD about a food drive
at the schools, and contact the band and drill team
• Mendy will contact the newspaper with parade information
• Parks Department will provide sound system for pavilion
and cones to help with traffic control/Tom will bring 20-30
T-posts in buckets
• Norma will mail out parade entry forms to businesses and locate
Santa hats for Parks Board Members
• Lee will purchase Santa Suit/Norma will provide City purchase
order number for Rose's Costumes in Denton
• Mr. Brice will get contact name for food pantry at Crisis Center
and talk to City website coordinator about possible Face Book page
for Parks Board
• Parks Board will try to recruit a volunteer to wear Santa suit, and make
contact with Mayor Muir to "welcome" citizens and will contact a local
preacher to do the invocation
• Norma will contact electric department to provide bucket buck for
Santa to ride in and a golf cart for Parks Board members to ride in behind
the bucket truck

6. Tom made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:48 with a 2nd from Lee.
