October 14 2014

1. Meeting called to order.
2. Pledge.
3. Citizen’s Input.
No citizens in attendance to speak.
4. Consider minutes of the meeting of September 9, 2014.
Minutes approved unanimously after a motion to approve by Josh Shumate and a second by Eddie Piercy.
5. Final Discussion of Fall Fishing Derby.
Fall Fishing Derby scheduled from October 25, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm.
All plans are finalized and board is scheduled to work.
6. Scarecrow Contest.
No entries submitted.
Suggestions to help in 2015: Revisit rules, gift cards from local businesses to give as prizes and/or
building a scarecrow, no entry fee.
7. Christmas Parade (Possibly Scheduled for December 13, 2014).
Parade will be held on December 13, 2014.
Parade will begin at 6:30pm with line up beginning at 5:00pm.
All choirs will need to be on floats – no more walking choirs.
8. Open Discussion of Future Projects.
