Follow Up on Trash Off Held on October 12, 2019. • Jennifer Shumate advised that this second trash off was a success. All 10 dumpsters were filled with an 11th needed to flatten out for transport. Jacked Turner let us know that Keep Texas Beautiful does a Fall Sweep and because of this we received some free supplies that we will use in the Spring when we typically have more volunteers. 6. Follow Up on Halloween Trick or Trot 5K and Monster Fun Run Held on October 19, 2019. • Ms. Shumate advised that this event was not a huge success again for 2019. We moved the event up a weekend as to not compete with other local and larger events. Around 50 participants were there and all that were there had a wonderful time. For 2020 we are looking at just having the Monster Fun Run that includes trick or treating as well as showing Hocus Pocus again. This event will be discussed further next summer. 7. Christmas Parade to be Held on December 14, 2019. • Jennifer Shumate just said this is an update and reminder to everyone available to help with the Christmas Parade on December 14th at around 5:00pm. 8. Keep Sanger Beautiful and Keep Texas Beautiful Update. • Jackie Turner updated us all regarding Keep Texas Beautiful. She stated that November 11, 2019 is National Recycle Day. She also stated that while it is the slow time, she is still attending webinars on both December 4th and December 16th. 9.
