Passed unanimously.
5.Election of Officers
Chairman: Tyler Sievert
Vice Chairman: Cale Trail
Secretary: Brad Shumate
All approved unanimously.
6.Board Meeting Schedule
Jennifer Shumate presented to the board the motion to hold meetings quarterly rather than monthly.
It was explained that this was in accordance with already approved bylaws that state "The board
shall determine its own rules and order of business and meet as needed.".

It was explained that this was in accordance with already approved bylaws that state "The board

Jennifer Shumate advised the board that the new meeting dates would be the second Tuesday of
every third month and would be as follows for 2022:
November 9, 2021
February 8, 2022
May 10, 2022
August 9, 2022
November 8, 2022
The board passed this motion unanimously.
7.Discuss Renovations to Porter Park Softball Fields
Jennifer Shumate gave an update to possible future plans for the softball fields at Porter Park. No
action was required.
8.Recap. of 2021 Spring and Summer Events
Jennifer Shumate gave each board member a document recapping the spring/summer 2021 events
held. No discussion was had as each board member will review independently.
9.Update on 2021 Fall Events
Jennifer Shumate gave each board member a schedule of scheduled 2021 fall and winter events
scheduled and gave a brief description of each and what assistance from the board was needed at
them.
The board requested that a Yard of the Month be added beginning in the fall/winter of 2021 as well
as a Best Halloween Decorations and Best Christmas Light Decoration contest.
Jennifer Shumate advised there may not be time to add the Halloween decoration contest but that all
others would be worked on immediately.
No other action required.
