October 11, 2016

1. Meeting called to order at 7:00PM.
2. Pledge.
3. Citizen’s Input.
No citizens in attendance.
4. Consider minutes of the meeting of September 13, 2016.
Minutes approved unanimously after a motion to approve by Carrie Bilyeu and a second by Alicia
Metcalf.
5. Fishing Derby to be Held on October 22, 2016.
Fishing Derby will be held from 2pm to 4pm with registration starting at 1pm.
Sanger High School Bass Team will not be available to help.
Same rules and guidelines as past Fishing Derby’s.
6. Halloween Trick or Trot 5K and Monster Fun Run to be Held on October 29, 2016.
Requesting all board members to help staff event.
Packets pick up will begin at 3pm and first run set to start at 4:45pm.
Course set up to begin at 1pm.
7. Christmas Parade to be Held on December 10, 2016.
Please put date on calendar because we will need all board members to staff.
8. Keep Sanger Beautiful / Keep Texas Beautiful / Keep America Beautiful.
Jackie working on getting Keep Sanger Beautiful back in good standing with both Keep Texas Beautiful
and Keep America Beautiful. Being in good standing opens up several different benefits to Sanger.
Mr. Berman suggested that Keep Sanger Beautiful work in conjunction with the library to co-sponsor
events.
9. Open Discussion of Future Projects.
No update for September.
10. Future Agenda Items.
Tour of the Sanger Presbyterian Church.
