The Bo-r.rd of Aldermen of the City of Sangez^, Teaas� met at a
called session, at the office of the City Secretary, in the City Hall of
said City, on the 30th day of September, 1938. Mayor Pro®Tem T® C. Wilson
presided, and Aldermen L. L. McNeill, Troy C. Stinson, E.E® Pate, and
J® L. Horst, and City Secretary C. A. Crowson were present*
The follotiving ozficers and managers of an election rield on the
29th day of September, 1938, to determine whether or not the benefits
of the Acts of the 43rd Legislature 1934, 4th Called Session, _rage 49,
Chapter 18, as amended by the Acts of 1937, 45th Legislature, 2nd Called
Session, House Bill No® 164, shall apply to the City of Sanger, and lArhether
cr not the City of Sanger shall adopt or•reject the provisions of said Act
by a vote of the resident property taxpayers Who are qualified voters of
said City at a special election called for the purpose by the governing
body of said City, were presentz

the adoption of the provisions and benefits of the Aots of 1934, 43rd Legislature
of the State of Texas, 4th Called Session, Page 49, Chapter 18, as amended
by the Acts of 1937, 45th Legislature, 2nd Called Session, Mouse Bill No. 164,
are connect, and that there were a majority of votes cast for the adoption
of the provisions and benefits of the Acts of 1934, 43rd Legislature of the
State of Texas, 4th Called Session, Page 49, Chapter 18, as amended by the
Acts of 19379 45th Legislature, 2nd Called Session, house Bill No, 164, in
and for the said City of Sanger, Texas, and that such majority for the adop-

Upon the returns of the election held on the 29th day of September,
�a B® 1938, said returns having been duly and legally de, as .required by
law, and properly canvassed by the Board of Aldermen. in compliance and in
conformity with the provisions of all laws governing the same, and it having
been shorm that at said election the proposition of the adoption or rejection
of the provisions and benefits of the Acts of 1934, 43rd Legislature of the
State of Texas,, 4th Called Session, Page 49, Chapter 18, as amended by the
Acts of 1937, 45th Legisla-ure, 2nd Called Session, Douse Bill No® 164, was
submitted only to persons who were qualified, electors in the City of Sanger,
Texas, and who owned taxable property in the City of Sanger, Texas, and v,&o
isid duly rendered such property for taxation, the Board of Aldermen finds
and declares that upon a proper canvass of the votes cast at said election
upon the question of the adoption or rejection of the provisions and benefits
of the Acts of 1934, 43rd Legislature of the State of Texas, 4th Called
