Meeting called to order at 7:02pm. 2. Determine Presence of a Quorum. 3. Pledge of Allegiance. 4. Consider and Possibly Adopt Minutes of the Meeting of November 14, 2016. Motion to approve minutes as presented was given by Kelly Morgan with a second by Dennis Dillon. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Conduct a Public Hearing Concerning a Request to Rezone Approximately 49.51 Acres on the East Side of Marion Road Approximately 2,500 Feet North of FM 455 from A Agricultural District to SF-1 Single Family Residential District 1. Public Hearing Opened at 7:05. No public in attendance; no discussion. Public Hearing Closed at 7:05. 6. Consider, Discuss, and Possibly Act on a Request to Rezone Approximately 49-51 Acres on the East Side of Marion Road Approximately 2,500 Feet North of FM 455 from A Agricultural District to SF-1 Single Family Residential District 1. Alina Ciocan presented the staff report. Discussion regarding Marion Road and safety issues. Mr. McBirney stated he would put lights in at the gate to the subdivision. Motion to approve the rezoning was given by Jason Collett, with a second by Justin Allen. Motion carried unanimously. 2 7. Conduct a Public Hearing Concerning a Request to Rezone Approximately 19.51 Acres on the East Side of Marion Road Approximately 1,500 Feet North of FM 455 from A Agricultural District to R-1 Residential District 1. Public Hearing Opened 7:12. No public in attendance, no discussion. Public Hearing Closed 7:12. 8. Consider, Discuss, and Possibly Act on a Request to Rezone Approximately 19.51 Acres on the East Side of Marion Road Approximately 1,500 Feet North of FM 455 from A Agricultural District to R-1 Residential District. Alina Ciocan presented the staff report. Motion to approve the rezoning was given by Kelly Morgan, with a second by Jason Collett. Motion carried unanimously. 9. Consider, Discuss, and Possibly Approve a Proposed Preliminary Plat of the Sanger Estates, Being 49.51 Acres in the Rueben Bebee Survey, Abstract No. 29. Motion to approve the request to approve the proposed preliminary plat as presented and as long as all of the conditions were met was given by Justin Allen with a second by Sandra Hensley. Motion carried unanimously. 10. Consider, Discuss, and Possibly Approve a Proposed Preliminary Plat of Parkbrook at Sanger Circle, Being 19.51 Acres in the Rueben Bebee Survey, Abstract 29. A motion to approve the request to approve the proposed preliminary plat with staff conditions was made by Kelly Morgan, with a second by Justin Allen. Motion carried unanimously. 11. Director’s Report: Sanger Housing Policy. Alina Ciocan gave a brief presentation about the Sanger Housing Policy. 12. Adjourn.
