1. Meeting called to order at 7:05pm.
2. Determination that a quorum was present and no seating of an alternate was necessary.
3. Consider minutes of the meeting of June 10, 2013.
Minutes approved unanimously after a motion to approve by Glen Jensen and a second by Justin Allen.
4. Conduct a Public Hearing Regarding a Request to Rezone the Property Legall y Described as White
Addition out of the Henry Tierwester Survey and Located at the Southwest Corner of 5 th Street and
Willow from SF-10 Single Family Residential to PD Planned Development District.
Public Hearing Opened.
No Citizens Present.
Public Hearing Closed.
5. Consider, Discuss, and Possibly Make and Action Regarding a Request to Rezone the Property Legally
Described as White Addition out of the Henry Tierwester Survey and Located at the Southwest Corner
of 5th Street and Willow Street from SF-10 Single Family Residential to PD Planned Development
District.
This is an item that was originally denied by both the Planning & Zoning Commission and City
Council in June when written to rezone to B1. Item has since been rewritten to rezone to a PD.
A PD would allow some of the uses of a B1 but not all and Commissioners would be allowed to
write in some of the uses / nonuses.
Commissioners still have concerns with current zoning of neighbors as well as parking, street
usage, etc.
A motion to DENY was proposed by Glen Jensen with a second to DENY by Ramie Hammonds.
Five commissioners voted to DENY the request with Justin Allen opposing the denial.
