Meeting called to order.
2. Consider minutes of the meeting of August 8, 2011.
Minutes were approved unanimously.
3. Consider, discuss and possibly act on the Land Use Assumptions and Capital
Improvements Plan under which an impact fee may be imposed.
City Manager Mike Brice addressed the Commission and presented a slideshow concerning
the proposed impact fees and what it would mean to new users of the water and wastewater
system.
Discussion followed.
Mayor Thomas Muir addressed the Commission and expressed his support for the proposal.
Discussion followed.
Billy Ezell made a motion to recommend approval of the Land Use Assumptions and
Capital Improvements Plan with the increase in impact fees as presented. Sherri
McCandless seconded. Motion passed with 4 votes to approve and I vote against by
Shelley Ruland.
