MINUTES-SANGER PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
August 11, 2009
The Sanger Public Library Board met together with the Friends of the Library on
August 11, 2009 in lieu of their regular quarterly meeting previously scheduled for

August 10. Library Board Members attending the meeting were Don McClure,
Norma Matney, Elizabeth Muir, and Judie Rodgers. The Library Board Members
participated in the Friends of the Library discussions and then discussed possible
action on another request to sell books at the library. This request was not passed
as it is not in line with the current policies and procedures of the Sanger Library.
The long range plan survey is on hold at this time. Possibility of providing a service
for downloadable books was reviewed and requires further research. Please refer
to the minutes recorded by the Friends of the Library secretary for that date for
review of additional discussions. The Library Board will resume with the next

regularly scheduled meeting set for November 9, 2009.
