A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER5 TEXAS,
DESIGNATING APRIL 23, 2022 AS THE DAY OF THE 2022 SANGER CITYWIDE
GARAGE SALE.
WHEREAS, the City desires to encourage commerce and provide opportunities for
residents to improve the condition of their property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted an ordinance providing for a citywide garage sale
on a designated Saturday in the spring (March, April, May); and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the passage of this Resolution is in the best interest
of the citizens of Sanger.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitals set forth in the preamble of this resolution are hereby
found to be true and correct.
SECTION 2. That Saturday, Apri123, 2022, is designated as the day of the 2022 Sanger
Citywide Garage Sale. In the event of inclement weather, the Rain Date will be Saturday, April
30, 2022.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approvalI
DULY PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Sanger,
Texas, on this 4th day of April 2022.
