11-91-Ordinance-Annexing 23.6 acres of Land in Abstract 29 Ruben Bebee-10/07/1991ORDINANCE # 11-91 Annexing Sanger Cemetery CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A TRACT OF LAND CONTIGUOUS AND ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF SANGER, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS: ABSTRACT #29, SHEET 4, RUBEN BEBEE, CONSISTING OF 23.6 ACRES (SANGER CEMETERY), AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the request for annexation was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Sanger, Texas, on petition of John Coker, and WHEREAS, an opportunity was afforded at a public hearing held for that purpose on the 3rd day of September, 1991, in the Council Chambers, 201 Bolivar, Sanger, Texas, for all interested persons to state their views and present evidence bearing upon the annexation provided by this ordinance, and WHEREAS, an opportunity was afforded at a public hearing held for that purpose on the 16th day of September, 1991, in the Council Chambers, 201 Bolivar, Sanger, Texas, for all interested persons to state their views and present evidence bearing upon the annexation provided by this ordinance, and NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Sanger, Denton County, Texas, Hereby Ordains: Section I That the hereinafter described tract of land be, and the same is hereby_ annexed to the City of Sanger, Denton County, Texas, and the same is made hereby, a part of said City and the land as well as the present and future inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all rights and privileges as other citizens of said City and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said City now in effect or which may hereafter be enacted and the property situated therein shall be subject to and shall hear its prorates part of the taxes levied by the City of Sanger. The tract of land hereby annexed is described as follows, to -wit: Abstract #29, Sheet 4, Ruben Bebee, consisting of 23.6 acres. Section III This ordinance shall take effect upon passage by the City Council of the City of Sanger, Denton County, Texas.
