UNIFORM FIRE CODE
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE AND
UNIFORM FIRE CODE STANDARDS PRESCRIBING REGULATION53'
GOVERNING CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS TO LIFE AND PROPERTY
FROM FIRE OR EXPLOSION, PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE
OF PERMITS FOR HAZARDOUS USE OR OPERATIONS, AN D
ESTABLISHING A BUREAU OF FIRE PREVE NTION AND PROVIDINC4'
OFFICERS THEREFOR AND DEFINING THEIR POWERS AND DUTIES,,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGER CITY COUNTCIL-
ADOPTION OF UNIFORM FIRE CODE
There is hereby adopted by the Sanger City Council, Denton Count_y,
Texas, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions
hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain Code and
Standards known as, the Uniform Fire Code, references including Appendix
Chapters, I -A to VI®F Insert appropriate appendix chapters. See Uniffort),a
Fire Code Section 1. 102(c).] and the Uniform Fire Code Standards published
by the Western, Fire Chiefs Association and the International Cotiferetice of
Building Officials, being particularly the most current editions thereof and
the whole thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted.,
modified or amended by Section 7 of this ordinance three (3) copies- of
which Code and Standards have been and are now filed in the office of thy;
City St-,cretary of the City of Sanger, Denton County, Texas, and the sarne arf:
hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, A.-nd
from the date on which this ordinance shall take effect, the provision

SECTION III
It is declared to be the Intention of the City
Council that the
paragraphs, sentences, clause.-:; and phrases of this Ordinance are severable
and, should any of the same be declared null or void by any court of
competent.jurisdiction, suchaction shall not affect the remaining phna,,:;(--,--,
clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections of this ordinance.

Failure to comply with any section or provision of this Ordinance that
is prohibited or is declared to be unlawful or a misdemeanor, or whenever in
this ordinance, the commission of an act is required or the omission thereof
is prohibited, the violation of such provision shall be punishable by a fine not
to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), provided however, that no
penalty shall be greater or less than the penalty provided under the laws of
the State of Texas. Each day any violation of this Ordinance shall continue
shall constitute a separate offense.
