AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANGER, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AMENDING CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE 10.802, BY ADDING TWO
SECTIONS, TO BE KNOWN AS (m) AND (n) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR
THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY CLAUSE; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Sanger Texas:
SECTION I
THAT CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE 10.802 OF THE CITY OF SANGER CODE OF ORDINANCES
IS HEREBY AMENDED BY ADDING TWO SECTIONS, TO BE KNOWN AS (m) AND (n),
WHICH SAID SECTIONS SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
§ 10.802 Designation of Truck Routes
The following streets and highways within the City limits of the City of Sanger, Texas, are
hereby added to be designated as truck routes:
(m) ls` Street from Plum Street to F.M. Road No. 455.
(n) Plum Street from 61h Street to 1" Street
SECTION II
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict,
hereby repealed.
SECTION III
It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the sections, paragraphs,
sentences, clauses, and phrases of this Ordinance are severable and, if any phrase, clause, sentence,
paragraph, or section of this Ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional by the valid judgement
or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the
remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, and sections of this Ordinance, since the same
would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this Ordinance of any
such unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section.
SECTION IV
Any person. Firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in accordance with the general
penalty provision found in Section 1.105 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION V
This Ordinance will take effect immediately after its passage and the publication of the
caption as the law in such cases provides.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 16th day of October, 2000, by the City Council of the City
of Sanger, Texas.
