Councilwoman Margie Braxton, Councilman Jerry
Jenkins, Councilman Tommy Kincaid and Councilman
Joe Bell
OTHERS
PRESENT: City Administrator John Hamilton, Administrative
Assistant Etta Stogsdill, and Public Works
Superintendent Chuck Tucker
1. Mayor Nel Armstrong called the meeting to order.
2. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Awarding Library Bids
Mayor Armstrong thanked the City Council Members for attending
the Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
Discussion.
Motion was made by Councilman Kincaid to accept bids from CBS
Mechanical in the amount of $81042.00 and Lakeway Plastering
in the amount of $6,125.00 Bids on the Library. Seconded by
Councilman Joe Bell. Motion carried.
General consensus from Council to proceed.
Motion was made by Councilman Richardson and seconded by
Councilman Jenkins to authorize the Mayor and staff to decide
if City needs to advertise bids for the framing and materials
specifically. Motion carried.
3. Any Other Such Matters
City Administrator Hamilton mentioned this was Etta's last
meeting due to her resignation to accept a position at
Sanger Bank.
4. Meeting adjourned.
