1. Mayor Coker Called the Meetiug to Order, Councilman Kincaid led the Invocation
which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Motion was made by Councilman Frazier to Approve Consent Agenda. Seconded
by Councilman Kincaid.
Motion Carried unanimously.
3. Citizen's Input.
Mrs. Arlene Thomas addressed Council stating that she had come to Council back
in October or November concerning a problem with the birds behind her house. -
Mrs. Arlene Thomas indicated she has not heard from anyone regarding this
problem.
Councilman Kincaid stated they do not have the contractor that was there about 2
years ago and did not know if there if really anything else that could be done.
Discussed.
Mayor Coker appointed Councilman Kincaid and Larry Yoast to meet with Mr.
Inman to see if they can work out a solution to the problem.
4. Consider and Possible Action to Appoint A Representative to Pension Board for the
Sanger Volunteer Fire Department.
Motion was made by Councilman Richardson to reappoint Jerry Jenkins as the
representative to the Pension Board for the Sanger Volunteer Fire Department.
Seconded by Councilman Frazier.
Motion Carried unanimously.
5 Consider and Possible Action to Adopt Resolution No. O1-97 designating March as
Fair Housing Month.
Motion was made by Councilman Frazier and Seconded by Councilman Richardson
to Adopt Resolution No. 01-97.

6. Consider and Possible Action to Adopt Ordinance No. 03- / Regarding Annexation
of a certain tract of land being located East one (1) mile from the City Limits on
FM455 Right -of -Way.
Motion was made by Councilman Richardson and Seconded by Councilman Ervin
to Adopt Ordinance No. 03-97.

Motion Carried unanimously.
7. Consider and Possible Action Regarding ProRata Agreement by and between the
City of Sanger and Tom Pralle.
Motion was made by Councilman Kincaid to Approve ProRata Agreement between
City of Sanger and Tom Pralle. Seconded by Councilman Ervin.
Motion Carried unanimously.
8. Any Other Such Matters.
(
1) The Mayor indicated he had received a letter from the Fire Chief Bill Murrell
advising that Wayne Hines who was serving as the Training Coordinator has
resigned. Chief Murrell also advised the Mayor that Calvin Tipton is
temporarily serving as the Training Coordinator.
(2) Mayor Coker informed Council that George Highfield was serving on the
Industrial Development Board, however, George is no longer with GNB.
Garland Thornton has come back and has accepted the position at the bank.
Mayor Coker advised he had spoke with Garland and asked if he would be
willing to serve on the Board and he has accepted. W. Thornton has served
on this Board before. Mayor Coker stated he has appointed Garland
Thornton to this Board.
(3) City Administrator Larry Keesler advised the water and sewer project on 5th
Street and FM45S have been completed. The final inspections were done
today.
He also advised the animal shelter has been completed.
{4) Mr. Keesler advised the Sanger Evening Lions Club has submitted an
application for funds through the Lions Club International for $75,000 for
improvements to the Ballpark on Railroad Avenue. He also indicated the
work has been to prepare the ballpark fields for the baseball season which is
fast approaching.

(S� Mr. Beesler reported that in regards to the drainage problem on Beaton they
have still not been able to get an easement from the property owner.
Councilman Jenkins and Mayor Coker will go visit with Mr. Amyx tomorrow
and see if they can try to get the easement from Mr. Amyx.

(� Councilman Frazier indicated that the Chamber of Commerce Banquet
Saturday night was one of the best they had ever had.
