1. Mayor Coker Called the Meeting To Order.
I Audit Report by Bill Spore.
City Auditor Bill Spore gave an in-depth report concerning the FYE Audit report
for 1995=1996. Discussed were the combined statements for revenue, expenditures,
and changes in the fund balances for the General Fund and the Expenditure Fund.
Mr. Spore also went over his letter to City Council concerning his suggestions for
systems improvement.
In summary, the City's financial analysis was better this year than last budget year.
As the auditor indicated ever after the City paid certain unbudgeted items, the City
still made money.
