1. Mayor Armstrong called meeting to order.
2. Discussion Regarding Proposed 92-93 Budget
City Council discussed proposed revenuers for 92-93.
Mayor Armstrong explained the tax rate for 92-93.
The City can go up to .4941 without public hearings in order to
generate the same amount of revenues as last year since our assessed
value went from 73,804,893 to 68,944,738 which is a decrease of
nearly 4 million dollars.
There was a lengthy discussion regarding; this item
Consensus of City Council to use the same tax rate as last year which
was .4633 and to raise the $1.00 on the minimum basic rate on
electric rates for residential and commercial users.
Council stated they wanted to have a Personnel +Vorkshop as soon as
the budget is adopted.
