Mayor Armstrong called the meeting to order, gave the invocation,. and
led the pledge to the flag.

Motion was made by Councilman Kincaid to approve Consent Agenda
Seconded by Councilman Berndt. Motion carried.
Citizen's Input
Chuck Tucker, Public Works Superintendent, introduced his two
newest employees, Craig Bowman and Tony Mode.
Consider and Possible Action Regarding I2estroom and Concession
Stand Facilities Switzer Park Bids
John Mears with Hunter Associates, Inc. discussed the following bids
an the Restroom and Concession Stand Facilities.

John Mears advised that he did not think the contractor would have a
problem with changing the campletion date to ninety (90} days.
Discussion continued regarding the cost per square foot.

5. Presentation and Possible Action Regarding Lighting Tee -Ball Field at
Community Center -Little League Representative
Gina Sons, Representative for the Sanger Summer League, was
requesting permission from the City Council to allow the Summer
League to put up lights at the Community Center Tee -Ball Field.
Mrs. Sons advised that they have the light fixtures and lamps;
however, they need permission from City Council to put them up.

7. Consider and Possible Action Regarding Request from Fire
Department to Consider Adoption of the 1991 Edition of the Uniform
Building Code Relating to Smoke Detectors
Discussion.
Motion was made by Councilman Madden to instruct staff to draw up
an ordinance Adopting the 1991 Edition of the Uniform Building Code
Relating to Smoke Detectors. Seconded by Councilman Kincaid.
Motion carried.
8. Consider and Possible Action Regarding Resolution #R2-93 -
Membership in the North Texas Regional Library System
Motion was made by Councilman Berndt to adapt Resolution #R2-93
which states:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GF SANGE;R, TEXAS,
EXPRESSING APPROVAL BY THE CITY C UN IL OF THE CITY
GF SANGER TO CONTINUE MEMBERSHIP UNDER THE NORTH
TEXAS REGIONAL LIBRARY SYSTEM AS A NONPROFIT
CORPORATION.
Seconded by Councilman Kincaid. Motion carried.
9. Consider and Passible Action Regarding City Personnel -Updating
Jab Descriptions to Meet Provisions Set ►y ADA
Discussion.
City Administrator advised that these job descriptions can be modified
at any time. They can delete or change anything they want; however,
the adoption of the job descriptions was to comply with the ADA
regulations.
Motion was made by Councilman Madden. to adopt City's Personnel Jab
Descriptions to meet provisions set by ADA. Seconded by Councilman
Berndt. Motion carried.
10. City Administration Report
City Administrator reported on the. fallovcTing:
a}. City Administrator advised that the workshop is scheduled for
5:30 p.m., Monday, March 1, 1993.
b}. The hearing before the TWC on the renewal of the Wastewater
Discharge Permit is scheduled for F+ ebruary 17, 1993 at
9:00 a.m., Wednesday. At present, there are no contesting
statements or objections registered with the TWC.
c). Staff will be working with TPWD Engineering staff to develop a
workable parking lot for the Pool Complex with the remaining
funds of $21,000.
d}. On Friday, the 26th, TML is sponsoring a seminar concerning
the new Cable TV Act.

a}. Mayor Armstrong advised she had received a call from one of our
customers and their light has burned out in front of her house.
The person does not Want a yellow street light; she wants one of
the bright lights to replace it.
Mayor advised she discussed this with John.
This person had also talked to Larry regarding this. This person
also offered to pay for the lights.

Officer.
City Administrator advised that he will be having a meeting
regarding the Animal Control Officer. At present, staff is
Working out a plan to use in-house employees.
