Council summarized the following as priority street improvements: 10th Street, from Bolivar to Austin, $216,000.00 and approximately $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 for electric utilities making the cost $271,000.00; 7th Street, from Elm to Peach, $29,000.00 in front of school}. Garland Thornton, GNB, advised City Council that he was prepared to commit to finance any kind of improvements as Council has just discussed tonight at the national prime rate of 6% and 90% of that figure fixed at one year at a time and that commitment was there for the City's consideration during budget preparation.
