October ef, 1986
Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by the chairman,
Herb Arledge.
R011 Jack Burkholder was absent
New Member Francile Sullivan was sworn in. The oath of office was read
by Herb Arledge.
Report John Henry reported on present water rates which are the
lowest in this area. Suggestions were made as to additional
charges to be recommended in each block of usage. Members
of the board agreed, however, that additional information
is needed on number of users in each block before decision
on increasing rates can be made.
Ordinance Several items in this ordinance were thoroughly discussed by
Ntunber 86-13 the board, A motion was made by John Henry, seconded by Carrol
14cNeil and approved by the board to recommend the following:

Section 1 Electrical Code Licenses (2) (a) should
be rewritten. As presently stated the homeowners'
permit has the same requirements as a journeyman
electricians' license. The homeowner's work must
be carefully inspected.
Section (2) (c) Journeyman applying for license must,
in addition to requirements stated, be recommended by
the .Master electrician with whom he has worked.
Section (3) (a) An applicant who fails the test will
net be allowed to retake the test for six months.
Section (3) In The four hour time limit on the test
should be strictly enforced.
The motion to adjourn was made by Carrol McNeil and seconded by
John Henry.
