RESOLUTION NO. 2024-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANGER, TEXAS,TO
APPOINT JIM BOLZ AS THE CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE TO THE UPPER
TRINITY REGIONAL WATER DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO FILL AN
UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING MAY 31, 2027; AUTHORIZING ITS EXECUTION
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 2023-07, appointing Alina Ciocan
to serve as the City's representative to the Upper Trinity Regional Water District Board of
Directors to fill an unexpired term ending May 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS,with the departure of Mrs. Ciocan, the Mayor has recommended Mr. Jim
Bolz be appointed to the Board representing the City of Sanger for the remainder of the
current term; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the passage of this Resolution is in the best
interest of the citizens of Sanger.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANGER,TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitals set forth in the preamble of this resolution are
hereby found to be true and correct.
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby appoints Jim Bolz as the City's
representative to the Upper Trinity Regional Water District Board of Directors to fill a term
ending May 31, 2027, to serve a four year-term.
SECTION 3,That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 1ST DAY OF JULY 2024.
