The City Council met in a regular session, members present were
HeD.Cooper A.J.Brown-- E.E.Pate-- C.R®Chapman--E.M..Acker-- with
Mayor H.B.Toon presiding.
MR. ROBERTS FIRE HOSE
he explaining the good quality of his hose etc. he was
xcused from meeting.and assured his hose deal would get their

after an investigation• to quality etc. the above motion
was seconded by A.J.Broim Motion carried.
Next was the reading of the city,s bills, after being read a
motion was made by H.D. Cooper and sec® by C.R.Chapman that the
bills be allowed and ordered paid, the amount being 2274.46.
This motion carried.

Next was the raising of the salaries; Of Ahp operators at plant,
after a talk on this a motion was madeb r E.M.Acker.,'and sec. by
A.J.Brown that they be given a ten dollar raise per month. This
motion carried.
Next was a motion made by C.R®Chapman and sec. by E.N[..Acker that
ordinances in regard to Building permits 8c sewer ordinances be
adopted. This carried.

Minutes brought Ford-- Dec-6th-1948
Next the Mayor brought before the council an insurance policy for
Fireman benefit after explaining it to council, a motior was made
by H.D.Cooper and sec. by E.E.Pate that insurance be carried on the
boys of the fire department. This carried.
No other business to attend to a motion was made by E.E.Pate and sec.
by E.M.Acker twat the council ajourn- Carried.
