The City Council met in regular session on the above date.
Those present were H. lJ. Cooper, E M Acker, Roy s&r V J
Hampton and Mayor H B Bailey®
The minutes of the previous.meeting were read and accepted
by the council.
Acker made the motion to nay all Bills® Roy Spratt second it.Carriec
The building of a line for Jack Latham at Valley View was
discussed, and King is to talk to Jack about it. The motion
was made by Spratt to pay Mrs Crowson for the table Fan. Cooper
seconed it. Motion carried.® Jp Hampton made the motion to buy
a transformer for Alexander at Valley View. ( 6900) Cooper
seconed it. Motion carried®
Extending the City Limits was discussed by the Councils some
leiture was read from The Leauge Of Texas Munic. Cooper made
the motion for the Equalization Board to meet on Sept® 1+f, 1949.
Hampton seconed it, motion carried® Time: 7:30. The motion was
made by Acker to sell old fare hose . Spratt seconed it, motion
carried® Cooper made the motion that Spratt Chapman check on
Oscar Vaughans overtime. Acker seconed. it. Motion carried.
Cooper made motion to adjurn, Chapman seconed it, motion carried.®
Cooper is to be in charge of Signed_ Mayor
selling old Fire Hose®
