RESOLUTION #R 17-94
RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE
1994 TEXAS HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs
(TDHCA) has made available $30,000,000 through the 1994 Texas Home
Investment Partnership (HOME) Program to provide housing assistance for
elderly and law and moderate income persons; and .
WHEREAS, The City of Sanger is eligible to apply far up to $200,000
of assistance. for the residents of the City of Sanger through the HOME
Program;
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED that The City Council of the City of Sanger,
Texas supports the submission of an application for assistance through the
1994 Texas Home Investment Partnership Program to the Texas
Department of Housing and Community Affairs and hereby authorizes the
City Manager to execute all documents and forms related to the submission
of the application.
