FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE BANGER
SENIOR CENTER BUILDING
WHEREAS, the building located at 200 Bolivar Street
in Sanger, Texas has been donated by the Sullivan family
to be used to the benefit of senior adults in the Sanger
Area; and,
WHEREAS, the building is in need of repair and restora-
tion before it can be used effectively; and,
WHEREAS, the Sanger City Council desires to proceed
with this repair and restoration on this project in order
to make it available for use by the city's older population.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED
CITY OF BANGER, TEXAS, THAT:
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
Paragraph l: The issuance of Certificates of Obligation
in the amount of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00)
shall be in the same is hereby authorized for a period
of two (2) years at an interest rate of to above prime
to be paid in semiannual installments.
Paragraph 2: These funds are to be used in the
restoration and repair of the Senior Center building
located at 200 Bolivar Street, Sanger, Texas.
Paragraph 3: The Mayor and City .Manager are hereby
authorized to sign the Certificate of Obligation
for and in behalf of thgCity of Sanger, Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the City Council
