The City Council met in regular session on the above date. Those present
were Mayor Bailey, COUNCILMEN Cooper, Chapman and Acker, The minutes of the
previous meeting were read and accepted by the cuftgncil. Mr Nundley, who is
with the Sanger Tele. Co., met with the council to discuss the raise fn rates
in Sanger,but due to the absents of two of the council members, it was agreed
to wait until next meeting night Aug. 20, 1951, to tote on this matter.
The rr onthley bills were read® Chapman made the motion to pay all bills with
the exception of $5.97 to Shaw Eck. Co.. Cooper seconed the motion. Motion
carried. Cooper made a motion to buy 1-25.kva and 1 15 kva transformer
from Bryyn Tex. Acker seconed the motion. Motion carried. ith no fa uther
business to attend to, Chapman, made a motion to ad'urn. Acker seconed it.

The City Council met in regular session on the above date. Those present
were Mayor Bailey Councilmen Cooper, Spratt, Acker, Perry and ChapLiian.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted by the Council.
Mr Nundley met with the council in regards to a raise in rates on the
tele. system here in Sanger, After much discussion on the subject, the
motion was made by Mr Acker to give the Sanger Telephone Co. a raise in
rates which were as follows: tip'4.50 Business

with the understanding and agreement that Sanger Telephone Co. will
start on construction of Rural lines on Jan. 1, 1952 as agreed ffffdKX
upon between Sanger Telephone Co. and the City Council, which includes
the considerations or unforeseen difficuliUes such as ice storms ect..
In case of unfullfillment of agreement as planed, the rates are to be
reduced back to the Aug. 1951 Rates. Mr Spratt seconed the motion. Motion
carried.
Willie Gwiibell met with the Council to see about working for the City
on part or full time employment as electrician. It was agreed on by
the council that he may help Ross Anderson a, any time Ross may need
him. The Cm neil agreed to give Red C11.1es at Denton, 1')100.00 for .the
fan at the plant. Acker made motion to ad 'urn. Cooper seconed it. Carried.
